alright,enough of that and onto better and hopefully more sane things. So today I am doing the ‘Bout this blogger tag (Love the grammar) hosted by Cait @ Paper Fury. You guys probably already know that. Let’s began.

Why did you start blogging?

Bit of a background story (don’t worry. I’ll all make sense.) Before I started Horse Feathers I was blogging as if I was my cat. (Don’t laugh). But then the horrid fate that bloggers cringe at came upon me (Ain’t i poetic). I had no idea what to write!

But I liked blogging so I though Let’s do a blog on horses! 

I created the blog on blogger,put up an introductory post,A tiny About Me page and a list of all my Breyer horses. (I was young. Forgive me.)

I don’t know how much time pasted when I came back. I had just found out about the bookie ‘blogosphere’ as they call it. Since I was (and still am) a bookworm and a writer I decided to blog about that as well. And the rest as they say is history.

What’s the story behind your blog’s name?

Well the blog was originally just about horses and whatnot, so I name it after the wispy hairs on a horses hooves. Horse Feathers

When I changed my blog about writing,I didn’t want to change the name. So I kept it. The feathers part sorta is like the writing aspect. Like a quill.

How many designs have you been through since you started blogging? (Pictures! We demand pictures!)

My first blog design was not the best. I don’t have a picture of my blog but the theme below is the theme I originally used

When I came back after abandoning it, I gave it a whole new farm, woodsy design.

And when I switched to WordPress I first was going with the adventure journal theme

But when I put my blog name in the little header thing,It would cover the horse’s head. Off I went on another theme search…

Untill I have now I have my theme which I absolutely  love! The wood,the header…Please ingore me as I stare at my blog

 Have you ever switched blog platforms? What made you move? If you haven’t ever changed…why?

As I said up there, I was originally with Blogger. I switched because I think that the WordPress themes are nicer looking. Also I think the blogger view chart was giving me false views for some reason. Other than that I just dived in with no reason.

So far I am loving it here on WordPress.

How long does it take you to write a post? What’s your postly process like?

It depends. Usally an hour ish to write the post,get the cat pics,edit… Getting kicked off the computer slows the process down too. I guess I’m sometimes suppose to be doing my homeschooling…

Have you ever been super nervous about a post? Why?! What was it?

Er…I havent been blogging for a while so I don’t know yet. *shrugs* I guess I’ll see in the future.

Do you have a blogging schedule?

I don’t exactly have a schedule.

Crank out a post a day,I guess. But I sposse I have somewhat of a schedule…

I plan to do Top Ten on Tuesdays,A Novel Idea on Wednesday and a feature I made up that’s top secret. *shushs*

 Do you tell people In-Real-Life about your blog? Their reactions?

I haven’t told anyone about my blog (other than my family,like I have my brother watching me right and making weird humming sounds) yet.

My brother is now telling me about my spelling mistakes. Geez details!

I don’t usually comment on other blogs… I do sometimes but it’s not a talent. I mostly comment on Go Teen Writers. (That’s going to be one of my New Years revelations….)
