So over the last couple of days I took a stab at writing poetry…I’ve never done it before and I don’t know if there any good…
But you my lucky ponies get to read my work!
Baby
Eyes who hold no hate.
Hands that won’t hurt a soul
Lips who will speak only good
Mind where only good thoughts live
And a heart with enough love for the whole world.
The Sparrow
(this is what I based the poem on) Matthew 10:28-31
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
Oh Sparrow
How I wish to be like you.
Cheerful at almost every hour
Not a worry in your head
Why should I worry?
For the one you takes care of the sparrows, will surely take care of me.
