The Book Lover’s Questionnaire Tag

 

Actually I haven’t been tagged. I just borrowed this from A Writers Faith. (If you haven’t checked her blog out, go now. It’s fabulous.)

 

Anyway let’s just jump right into this questionnaire. (Totally random but Does anyone hear the word questionnaire in a british accent?)

 

Do you have a specific place for reading?

I do have a little corner on the couch where the light shines on my pages just right. Other wise anywhere in the house works.

 

Bookmark or random piece of paper?

None?

 

 

 

 

 

I do have a explanation. I fiddle with my book marks and break them, lose them, etc. I often just fold the top of the page and that works.

Can you stop anywhere in a book or do you have to finish the chapter?

Must finish chapter. ‘Nuff said.

Music or tv while reading?

Back before I stuck my Ipod in the washing machine by accent (long story) I once listened to music when I was reading. But don’t really listen to music and read. And if I had a TV (which I don’t) I would’t be able read and watch.

Do you eat or drink while reading?

Uh yes! I love to eat and when I have a bottle of Mango Guava ‘Bucha and a good book. Nothing could be any better. Unless it’s cheesecake…

One book at a time or several?

Usually one book at a time but sometimes I’ll put down my book and I can’t remember where I put it down. So I just get a new book.

Reading at home or elsewhere?

READ BOOKS EVERWHERE! EVEN IN NARNIA!

Read out loud or silently?

If I read out loud I’d probably have a sore throat by the end of it…

Do you read ahead or skip pages?

sometimes if the book is dragging or I can’t figure what is real life and what is a dream. (*cough*cough*merlin’s blade*cough*cough*) then I will sometimes skip ahead.

And I’ll often read the ending when I first get a book. Don’t kill me.

Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?

I wish I could keep my books all shiny but alas my books get ruined. I also like the feel of a worn book.

Do you write in your books?

People write in their books?! (If you do sorry if I sound mean.) I don’t. In my non-fiction books I’ll highlight in the book but other than that not at all.
